Jill Fewster-Yan is a born and bred Toronto east-ender. She grew up in Agincourt with her three siblings, Blair, Michelle and Brian, and attended high school at Agincourt Collegiate and Albert Campbell C.I. Having always been an organizer at heart, Jill chose to enter the business program at Wilfrid Laurier University after her very active high school years. Team sports continued to be a big part of Jill's life at the university level. She played three years of varsity basketball at Laurier before graduating with her business degree. She then set off to earn her MBA at York University, where she served as co-captain of the women's varsity soccer team.
Jill began her marketing career in brand management at Procter & Gamble. Next came a series of entrepreneurial ventures which included the development of a board game called Sports Franchise, licensed by Irwin Toys. After marrying her grade-school sweetheart Larry, the couple moved to West Rouge where they have lived raising their two daughters, Jennifer and Katie, for more than thirty years. While the girls were still young, Jill co-founded a marketing company called CF&R Services, which ran promotions for clients such as Gatorade in the packaged goods industry. Later, Jill launched a similar business of her own that she ran from home, enabling her to volunteer as a soccer coach and play an active role in her daughters lives as they were growing up.
Jill can thank her good friend, Sue Mills, for introducing her to the world of real estate. Together, along with Sue's father, sister and friend, Jill and Sue founded The Mills Team in April, 2002. With their focus on providing exceptional service and results for all of their clients, they quickly became one of the top real estate teams in Canada.
A builder and marketer to the core, Jill chose to launch Jill's TEAM in 2013 with a focus on developing Toronto's undervalued east end real estate market. Having carved a successful niche in the West Rouge area with her honest, professional and caring approach, Jill is now sharing her passion for the West Rouge neighbourhood and the real estate business with her husband Larry, her daughter Jennifer, along with Michelle Saitta and Cheryl Cross. Jill and her team enjoy sharing their extensive knowledge and expertise to provide first class real estate services to the buyers and sellers they serve.
When Jill is not at work, you will likely find her spending time with family and friends, relaxing at her cottage in Haliburton or searching for lost balls on the golf course with her husband Larry. Granddaughters, Evelyn and Peyton, are also a great source of fun and a favourite pastime for Jill and Larry.
